It is nothing concrete about Mega512.
Flash 512K, RAM 8K, EEPROM 4K, ADT 16 channels.
Special register for power consumption control. (?)
Plans of Atmel in the future:
- changing main clock frequency on-line (divider),
- extra registers for disconnection of digital inputs
from pins (to exclude input linear mode),
- debugWIRE will presence on all new chips,
- interrupt controller (nothing concrete),
- changing source of main clock at operate time,
- chips with extra modules (USB, Ethernet, CAN),
- chip with up to 24V power (directly).
In the remote future:
- sending of comparator output to pin,
- Low Voltage Detector (before RESET level ?),
- Direct Memoty Access (nothing concrete).
About ADT: no improvements.
