Hello All!

[This has been CC'd to the official AVR GCC maintainers, and those people who are known to have FSF paperwork filed.]

Below is a list of known GCC bugs that affect the AVR target, hopefully in some kind of order of importance (at least IMHO, YMMV). I especially want to point out GCC bug #15417, which says that currently AVR GCC cannot be built for the upcoming 3.5 (HEAD). Any work to get that one fixed would be very appreciated. Other noteworthy items: Bug #14064 has a potential fix mentioned in the comments. It needs confirmation and a commit. Any help to confirm the unconfirmed bugs #16563 and #16884 would be appreciated.

Also, there is a patch at avr-libc that needs attention:

avr-libc patch #2923
<http://savannah.nongnu.org/patch/?func=detailitem&item_id=2923>
This adds new AVR decvices to the toolchain. Requires patching binutils, gcc, and avr-libc.

Thanks
Eric
