RE: [avr-gcc-list] COFF/ EXTCOFF: /ccOcaaaa.s not found in symbol table, ignoring

I downloaded:

1: ELF/DWARF parser, beta 5
2: AVR Studio 4.10 Update 1, build 359

And my problems are now no longer so severe. 
I do have optimization set at 2, but have not played with this.

I no longer experience the problem that the breakpoints disappear
changing to debug mode and I can now (most of the time) set breakpoints
in debug mode. Very occasionally (maybe this has happened two or three
times in 4 hours today) I can not set breakpoints using any method. This
is not an issue for me as I can work happily with the current
performance.
