Boy, that's ancient!  It must be three years old now (which is twice
the revolution time of the IT business).

Please upgrade.  You're obviously using Windows, so use the WinAVR

Also upgrade your AVR Studio to the latest version (4.11 or something
like that).  In case you've got an STK500 (or compatible) programmer,
better *don't* allow AVR Studio to upgrade its firmware though (yet),
as the opensource programming tools cannot handle the new (2.x)
firmware yet.

Hmm, you don't seem to have avr-binutils installed either.  Never
mind, it will be part of the WinAVR distribution as well.

Just remove your old installation before though.

Note that the old gcctest files have never been updated to comply to
the current toolchain.  Just start out with the simple demo.c file
that is part of avr-libc (and you guess it, it will be installed by
WinAVR as well :-), then pick up any *recent* examples from the
Internet (like from the avrfreaks.net "academy").
