You must provide the options you used to compile.

provided compilable code snippets with the exact command line options you used.

it would be great if you made a makefile that ran the tests too.

-Os between the GCC versions most likely don't have the same options, i forget how to tell though...

Sorry for my lack of information, I would like to work toward not only
fixing these problems, but also improving gcc so it can output smaller
code than ever.  Unfortunately I think many of the problems in gcc
exist for all targets.
