There is always the 'cdecl' program that does
 English <--> C/C++ declarations translations.


cdecl> explain volatile *x
declare x as pointer to volatile int

cdecl> explain int volatile *x
declare x as volatile pointer to int

Maybe cdecl could be included in WinAVR?
