I do not understand what you mean by "compilation take over
3 minutes". I have compiled many domains in Aldor and no
compilation I ever did took more than a few seconds. We
regularly compile Aldor domains on the Axiom wiki with no
noticable delay more than any other simple Axiom calculation.

The only explanation I can think of is that your computer
must be very limited in memory and that it spends an extreme
amount of time swapping to disk.
