I was not clear enough.  

Test outpus are displayed, as well as being saved.  However, I'm
concerned about the displayed part.

|  ATM test Makefile uses tee command to
| echo output also to the standard output, but it is probably better to
| have only ouput in files.

It is not clear to me why that would be better.
