cvs -d:pserver:address@hidden:/home/cvs co axiom You should be aware that Axiom now uses "literate programming" so the only file format is called "pamphlet files". It might help to look at the official homepage for Axiom at http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/axiom and read the axiom-developer mailing list. At minimum you should read the Makefile.dvi file in the top level subdirectory. Tim
