At least fricas is still under active development.

That's why I use it.

Nevertheless the documentation might be better, regarding details of
the language.
There also is Aldor, which seems to be related to Axiom.

There are many spreaded snippets of information on all these programs,
not one document that gives an overview.
So, it's rather a mess, and hard for axiom-newbies to enter.

Would be nice, if those who have the overview,
could create an overview document, so that new people
could enter more easy.

Also, many years ago, there was a axiom-workshop.
This should be done more often.
But maybet there are just too less people who use axiom,
and therefore the "critical mass" is not reached.
