Follow-up Comment #1, bug #25147 (project bibledit):
Merging takes too much time. WE need a clever routine that only looks through
the most recent part of history,
and then keeps comparing till the common ancestor has been found. We work on
dates, going back in history in both
projects at the same pace, and not go through one project completely, then
through the whole other one, and only
then start comparing. No, we need to start with comparing date by date. That
way an enormous speedup
will be obtained.
