Update of task #8194 (project bibledit):

                  Status:             In Progress => Ready For Test         
             Open/Closed:                    Open => Closed

Follow-up Comment #1:

A while ago Bibledit received the capability to import from compressed files.
I just tested this system.

Make a full backup.
Store this backup in the home directory.
Create a new project.
Import files in to that project:
Select the previously created backup to be imported.
Import the files.
The project will now have exactly the same data as the project that was
backed up.
This can therefore be used to transfer data to new computers.
