The available audio output devices are those that OpenAL supports on
the given platform.

So I guess on Mac OS X it makes a difference if Bino is build against
Apple's native OpenAL, or against OpenAL Soft. Both seem to have their
advantages and disadvantages, but I'm not a Mac user, do I don't know
the details.
