What commands did you run after git clone? It should be ./bootstrap.

Just in case, please also run it as:
LC_ALL=C ./tests/bison --skeleton
I guess it means that I cannot rely on the version of getopt I
inherit from gnulib, so I should be ready to have either messages.
Could you please send me your config.h?
