I'm throwing the towel on this series of patch.
Offline discussions have concluded that we can't change yytname like this, too
many existing grammars depend on its current format. That change is severely
hurting backward compatibility.
Which does not mean that the _feature_ will not make it into Bison, but that
it's not ready. I am exploring several alternative, but currently I don't have
enough feedback to decide what choice is the preferred one.
So I prefer to drop this feature from Bison 3.3. There are already enough new
features in master to start a release cycle. We will address this in 3.4.
