Hello Beda,
PDF export via Cairo works like a charm. Thanks!
While playing around I found a minor bug, however it can easily circumvented by
avoiding to change differently colored atoms:
1. Draw two atoms, eg. "S"
2. Right-click on one and change line color
3. Select both, right-click, properties and change font
4. The colored atom turns black
5. Saving file causes an error (probably related to 4.)
