I checked the FAQ and the Known bugs but couldn't find this there.

For each file we tried, a2ps 4.13 on our Linux machine (uname -r says kernel is 2.4.9-31SGI_XFS_1.1smp) happily produces PS output that causes GhostScript 6.51 (and 7.05) just as much as our HP LJ PS printer to refuse to render the page. See attached samples: text file, generated PS file and GhostScript's complaints.

As we don't need the features of a2ps 4.13, we have reverted back to 4.12 which works perfectly well.

If you give me some clue about the further info you might need about our system, I can try to figure it out. (Unfortunately, I don't know neither who compiled our build of 4.13 nor under which conditions.)

Is this bug already known? If so, where could I obtain a patched version?
