Hi,

if I generate a ps-file with a2ps, the right margin is always outside the page on screen but ok on paper if I print it directly. If I save it first and then print I get what I see on screen: a right margin outside the paper.

I re-installed from source and tried "sudo make check" to look for problems as "a2ps --list=defaults" looked all fine.

Below you can find the output of make check: it complains about not being able to finde 'level1.ppd', which is present in both the source dir
/Users/dvandyck/installs/a2ps-4.14/ppd/level1.ppd
and in
/usr/local/share/a2ps/ppd/level1.ppd

hope this info is helpful and the issue is easily resolved

best wishes

Dries.

It is unable to recognize the type of perl sh zsh mail ps files
