Nice - thanks - looks good - no configure or make problems

and libapl.so looks great - no problem with previously written code

native function for accessing PostgreSQL ... something very nice to play with   
  (didn't see that before)


Of cource the web page at http://www.gnu.org/software/apl  needs upgrade

Why not add a link to the newest version right on the front page too?  
http://www.gnu.org/software/apl (*deleted comment about intelligence level of 
new c/c++/java converts to apl to be limiting ability to navigate to apl dir on 
ftp site) and put the latest version in the apl.html 

Maybe time getting close to renaming next release apl-2.0 ?

but   +/÷⍳10000000    isn't any faster ;)
