[Bug-AUCTeX] 2005-05-15; Ignored LaTeX-item-list

When I `C-c C-j' at `-!-' in sample.tex below, I expect to
LaTeX-item-equation would be done, but just `\item' is
inserted.  That because the value of LaTeX-item-list is
ignored.  Bug in some load sessions?
