I cannot say why you had autoconf259 but not autoconf.
But I think it cannot be fixed in Autoconf project; Autoconf doesn't install
itself under the name "autoconf259", it always uses "autoconf".

The problem might be in the "ports" description of either autoconf, or perhaps
in the manual which you used to build FreeBSD from scratch.
I gues you should contact some FreeBSD developers to determine the exact
reason of the problem and fix it.
