Thanks. This is what I had assume and wanted to hear ;) I am going to temporarily disable this check.
FWIW, the test wrongly assumes that the output crosses a pipe buffer boundary and thus elicits a SIGPIPE, which is simply not true on some systems.
Some? It fails on all Linux distros, I've tried ;) Ralf
