Thanks Stefano.  I have had to make the switch over from a Debian Linux
box on x86_64 to Solaris 10 on a production Sparc server. This means you
may see the odd bug report from me, because, what a surprise, things from
the GNU world often "just don't work" when they land on Solaris.
