Machine Type: i386-redhat-linux-gnu
Bash Version: 2.05
Patch Level: 8
Release Status: release
Description:
I have been given a script in DOS format (\n\r) and running bash
with it caused errors, both when using #!/bin/bash and when typing
bash gate.sh. Running cat gate.sh | tr -d '\r' > g.sh generated
a script which works perfectly.
Repeat-By:
Write any script. FTP it in ASCII mode to a dos machine, FTP it
back in BINARY mode. Try to run it.
