Problem with GNUCygwin!!

Hi all:

I am new to using the cygwin bash for windows (I have been working on
a Solaris SunOS 8 b4 this!!). I am not able to run the more command on
the Dos based cygwin bash shell!! Any ideas as to the problem. I
needed the nore utility since the help on the lynx web browser just
scrolls on and on without stopping.
Also, is there a way to change the shell from bash to something else?
My other concern is that I need to set my proxy setting in lynx to my
proxy server. Do I need to explicitly do so, and if yes, how?
