  -e file
              True if file exists.

and -a dosnt work good:

[kaneda<-ogorasek]~$if [ ! -a /etc/passwd ] ; then echo si ; fi

[kaneda<-ogorasek]~$if [ -a /etc/passwd ] ; then echo si ; fi
si
