Bash Version: 3.1
Patch Level: 17
Release Status: release
Yum Version : 3.0.5

Description:
Yum not able to access url through bash

Repeat-By:
Following is the sequence of commands and the results:

     1. [root@localhost /]# yum install gcc
     2. Loading "installonlyn" plugin
     3. Setting up Install Process
     4. Setting up repositories
     5. Could not retrieve mirrorlist
        http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el5/en/mirrors-rpmforge error was
     6. [Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (110, 'Connection timed out')>
     7. Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: rpmforge

I don't know whether it is a problem with Bash or yum.
I suppose it is bash only. Also, if I need to upgrade to the
latest version of Bash where would I get a reliable binary
for the above stated architecture.

Thanks,
Pratiksha
