This is a very old version of the linker.  We are now at version 2.15 
and the sources in the CVS repository have even more bugfixes than that 
release.  Would it be possible for you to try reproducing the bug with 
either of these newer versions and, if it still exists, sending us a 
small reproducible test case with which we can investigate the problem ?
