You need to find out why those symbols aren't defined, given that
ld.so.1 is loaded via DT_NEEDED in libc.so.6. I saw a few possibilities:
1. A bfd/ld bug which is platform dependent.
2. Different binutils sources.
3. Platform issue.
You can do a binary search on binutils in CVS to see which patch causes this
issue.
