Using current trunk:

readelf -WS /tmp/t | grep debug_line
  [31] .debug_line       PROGBITS        0000000000000000 001156 00003a 00     
0   0  1

grep debug_line /tmp/map-gold
... no output. Where did the debug_line in /tmp/t come from?


Contrast this with BFD-ld:
