Hi Matthias,

This seems to be happening for you just when building binutils, do you pass it
any special options? I'm trying to reproduce it locally.

I think the check in compress.c must exclude linker created sections as those
wouldn't have been in the original input file anyway. So want to test if that
fixes it.
