Try the bison (latest development) version available at
to see if you get the same problems.

For my MacOS port, using this latest Bison version, I had to throw in
#if __MWERKS__ && macintosh
#include <alloca.h>
right before the first

For th version before that, I had to put in an extra stdlib.h include, as
#if __MWERKS__ && macintosh
#include <alloca.h>
#include <stdlib.h>

-- I only checked when compiling as C++.
