I found the file from Bison outputs to M4 useful when writing my own
skeleton files. This is the one I call short_basename + ".m4" and which
Bison does not unlink if one is asking for tracing.
I think though that the post-processing that Bison does of the M4 output
should be moved over to M4, if possible: Thus, giving M4 the capacity of
creating output files at need.
