Hello,
with cfengine 2.0.0 ~/.cfengine for non-root users is created with
owner/group root/root.
(The contents of this dir has the group and owner of the user who run
cfagent.)
Even if this is changed to something else, it is changed back on the
next run of cfagent.
Is this a feature ?! A bug ?!
When I first saw this, the permissions on the dir had been 777.
I changed this, but later I found it was changed back to 777.
I have been playing with this, but couldn't find a rule. Whereas the
owner/group is changed to root/root every time cfagent is run. The
permissions sometimes change.
(I've seen this once with "umask" set to 0)
All these tests were done as a non-root user. (With changing
owner/group/permissions on .cfengine obviously done as root)
