Folks
I have been using cfengine 2.0.6 Solaris 8 for a few weeks now.
Works quite well except for one small Problem
If cfrun is run with in a few minutes of each other
There is very good chance of getting this error
../../sbin/cfrun HOSTNAME
cfrun(0): .......... [ Hailing HOSTNAME.DOMAIN.com ] ..........
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
cfengine:HOSTNAME: Challenge response from server
SERVER.DOMAIN..com/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx was incorrect!
cfengine:HOSTNAME: Authentication dialogue with SERVER.DOMAIN.com failed
cfengine:HOSTNAME: Unable to establish connection with SERVER.DOMAIN.com
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
If I wait a few minutes and then do the command again , all works fine
It seems to only effect my Sun Solaris 8 clients.
Doing the same to AIX 4.3.3 , IRIX 6.5.19 , does not have the same problem.
I suspect there is some Time out or something like that in the Sun Kernel that
needs to be tuned
Any idea's
Thanks
Matt
