[Bug awt/28571] addNotify() on a Frame w/ Canvas destroys the Canvas pref size

Some additional comments, I wrote the wrong thing before, it's the addNotify()
on the Window that's causing this. (Note that MegaMek like all sane AWT apps
doesn't call addNotify(). It called pack() but the problem is in addNotify().)

Some additional comments; this doesn't seem to have to do with the
isPrefSizeSet() stuff (new for 1.5) as that returns false on the JDK as well.
(I guess that method only reuturns true if it's explicitly and not implictly
set)
