textutils-2.1 help request

Hello,

I am trying to build textutils for our processor. After configuration, i 
see error messages that "automake-1.6b" is required. Where as I have 
automake 1.7 on my pc.
I am not sure, if i need automake-1.6b or anything higher should work?
