At the bottom of the Debian manpage is the following:
... the command
info coreutils mv
should give you access to the complete manual.
Because you specifically mention Debian I am confused because Debian
already does what you suggest. I checked Debian Sarge/stable and
Debian Sid/unstable.
What version of coreutils are you using?
