ln.exe bug

Hello
thanks for your fine tool. Its better than all of the others because you
can create hardlinks even on network shares!
I think I found a bug: ln.exe does not make any hardlinks to a file without 
extension. E.g. 
example.txt
is fine but not 
example
Further I think if multiple instances of ln.exe are opened to create hardlinks 
at the same time, some links are not created too. But of this behaviour Im 
not sure because it could also depend on the script I use. If you can do any 
changes to ln.exe I would be happy if you could inform me. Thank you very 
much
