Based on your subject line, you should upgrade. 5.2.1 is a couple of
years old, and the latest stable version is currently 5.97.

Thanks for the 'nice' idea. However, coreutils currently does not provide
renice, and even though POSIX requires it, we cannot guarantee that
it will exist on all platforms, so adding the link without also adding an
implementation of renice might not be the best idea.
