You have addressed your question to the bug-coreutils mailing list.
The GNU coreutils are the basic text, file and shell utilities of the
GNU system.  However you do not seem to be having a problem related to
this project but instead related to your Ubuntu installation.

You do not have g++ installed on your system.

Your best source for answers to these types of questions would be in
your vendor's support forum.  In this case the Ubuntu users mailing
