policy on adding more filetypes to dircolors ?

is there any sort of policy on managing the dircolors.hin file for filetypes ?  
i've been adding ones to Gentoo such as:
 - more archive formats (01;31)
        .bz .tbz2 .tz .rar .ace .zoo .cpio .7z .rz
 - more image/video formats (01;35)
        .mng .pcx .yuv .m2v .mkv .ogm .mp4 .4v .mp4v .vob .qt .nuv .wmv .asf 
.rm .rmfvb .flc
 - more audio formats (and change 01;35 to 00;36 to distinguish from video)
        .mid .midi .au .aac .ra .mka

any interest in these changes ?
