sort 5.93 bug

Bug Report on GNU "sort",
using sort 5.93 on 64-bit SuSE 10.1 system,
sorting 1265625-line text file.

Invocation of "sort -g" works correctly,
and invocation of "sort -k 2" works correctly,
but invocation of "sort -k 2 -g" silently returns NULL output.
