Some linux distributions (such as Ubuntu) are setup without a root password,
and use "sudo" instead. The password for sudo is the same you use to login to
your account. Check "man sudo" for more information.
To "su" to a user other than root, type "su foo" where foo is the username you
want to change to. Check "man su" for more information.
