Having read the thread, I support the inclusion of this feature using
-H as the top level option and H as the -k suboption. Stern warnings
should be added about how input must be properly scaled for the feature
to work.
That said, I would also support the addition of a utility that
will properly scale and descale specified fields of the input using
multiple-precision arithmetic.
