I think tail.c is still in sync, but...

Please don't use cvs anymore (use git instead).
Something went wrong with a git-to-cvs commit-export,
so that at least the cvs ChangeLog is out of sync with
the upstream git repository.

I'll fix it eventually, but the point is you shouldn't
rely on cvs being up to date.
