Hm, that might not be easy. Did you have a look at
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=101979&cat=bin ? It outlines my
test setup, including the few scripts that were used to detect data loss and
verify that the fix indeed works. If daemontools/runit is installed it's a
matter of setting up two services and watching their output. Would that be
sufficient?
