Hi,
Here's the cpio v2.6 error when running on Win7 64-bit. As you can see on
Win7x64 it doesn't take options (-d or -u or whatever, except for -iop are ok).
But if I pass in the explicit form for the options then it's okay. See
snapshot attached.
No such problem occurs on XP 32-bit.
No such problem with cpio v2.8 and v2.9.
Is this a known bug? Looking at the Release notes
(http://www.gnu.org/software/cpio/cpio.html#releases), I don't see any
mentioning of this problem/fix.
Would you mind letting me know if this is an known issue with v2.6 running on
Win7 64-bit and if the expected workaround is to use the explicit form for the
options instead of abbreviated form. Thanks!
And it would be great if I could get the changes/release notes that mention
fixes for this problem. Thanks for your help!
