CVS 1.11.1p1 and modules |

To whom it may concern,
I have the latest version of CVS, that I've compiled with gcc 2.95.3 and
it is installed on a Solaris 2.5.1 box.
For our current project we have defined modules, there's one module
which refers to the entire project, but we also have sub-modules. The
main module uses the sub-modules, and the sub-modules have some
directories in common.
Here lies the problem, when we run the following command:
cvs -d.... checkout -r MY_TAG main_module
We get the following message for some files:
cvs checkout: move away FILENAME; it is in the way
C FILENAME
We get that message every time a file is in at least 2 sub-modules.
Is there a solution to that problem?
1/ Should I rewrite my modules and sub-modules?
2/ Is there a plan to have CVS parse the module file on a checkout to
remove duplicate directories?
Any information would be very appreciated.
Regards.
Didier
