when I read a specific external harddrive with gddrescue, I cannot interrupt (Ctrl+C) the reading when the faulty areas are read (or tried to). If I disconnect the drive, gddrescue does react and stopp. Even with -v -v I get no output what is going on. Using "-T 1" to limit timeouts to 1 second I cannot interrupt using Ctrl+C. Is this a bug or expected behaviour?
It looks like a bug or limitation in the kernel driver (the read call blocks forever until you disconnect the drive).
Best regards, Antonio.
